Yavapai County Community Health Services Prescription Drug Overdose Prevention Team's focus includes:

  • Increased access to and education on Narcan/naloxone, the opioid overdose reversal medication

  • Promotion of medication disposal via drug drop boxes and Deterra bags

  • Community outreach education

  • Provider education

  • Public awareness
